Project The development of a digital mindfulness-based cognitive therapy programme supporting disabled individuals with poor mental health to enter the workforce
Description

Be Mindful Workplace is a digital mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) platform designed to support disabled individuals seeking employment by improving mental health, resilience, and job readiness. Unlike general mental health tools, it is co-designed with disabled job seekers to address employment-specific challenges such as workplace anxiety, confidence-building, and self-advocacy. The platform is fully accessible, incorporating British Sign Language (BSL), EasyRead materials, and captioned video content to ensure inclusivity. Delivered online, it provides self-paced, structured mindfulness interventions tailored to individual needs. The project aims to create a scalable, evidence-based tool for integration into NHS services and employment support networks.
